Who Should Apply for Rajasthan Teaching Associate 2026 Exam

Postgraduate Candidates (Relevant Subjects)

Candidates must have completed a Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an accredited foreign university.

Candidates with NET / SLET / SET

Candidates who have cleared the National Eligibility Test (UGC/CSIR) or similar test like SLET/SET.

Ph.D. Degree Holders

Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016 are eligible and exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

Ph.D. (Before 11 July 2009)

Candidates registered before 11 July 2009 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET subject to fulfillment of prescribed academic conditions.

Foreign University Ph.D. Candidates

Candidates having Ph.D. from a foreign university/institution ranked within top 500 in QS / THE / ARWU rankings.

Reserved Category Candidates

SC / ST / OBC / MBC (Non-creamy layer) / Differently-abled candidates are eligible with 5% relaxation in qualifying marks (based only on qualifying marks without grace marks).

What is Rajasthan Teaching Associate?

The Rajasthan Teaching Associate 2026 is a state level contract based(Samvida) teaching post under Rajasthan College Education Society (Raj CES) for government colleges. It is created to provide teaching support in different subjects across colleges in Rajasthan.

This is direct recruitment and selection is done through a written exam. Selected candidates are appointed on contract basis for a fixed time period as per Rajasthan government rules and Raj CES guidelines.
